History
In 2004, the Waco (Texas) Marshals joined the National Indoor Football League as an expansion team.

The Marshals were then purchased by H.P. Patterson, and his ownership group, moved the team from Waco to Cincinnati for the 2005 season.

While the Marshals were successful on the field in 2005, off-field issues with the ownership group left the Marshals as property of the NIFL and facing an uncertain future.

However, in November of 2005, Doug Hortman fronted an ownership group, which purchased the Marshals from the NIFL and dedicated themselves to professional indoor making a home in southwest ohio.

The Marshals finished the 2006 campaign at 8-6 in the regular season and advanced to the NIFL Atlantic Conference semifinals before falling to River City. The Marshals were 5-2 at home during the 2006 season.

In 2007, the Marshals will once again compete in the NIFL and will call Hara Arena in Dayton, Ohio home.
